Maggie and Denny - we are so saddened about Jake. He was a special young man and you should be proud of both of your sons as they are fine boys. We are heartbroken over this...We love you and are praying for you.

I feel blessed that I had the honor of having Jake in my class this year. I was just sitting here reading his poetry book he put together a couple of weeks ago and I''m overcome with joy that I have some great memories of Jake. He was truly one of those kids that made you appreciate being a teacher.

We may not understand why this has happened to such an amazing young man, but what I know for sure is at such a young age you were loved so much in this community! I will always remember what a special person you were and I will never forget that no matter who was around you were still willing to walk up and give me a big hug!You will not be forgotten! Keep doing great things Jake!

I am so sorry to hear about the death of young Jake. I have a son that is 14 and in Middle School. I can''t imagine what you are feeling right now. I want to give some words of encouragement. You all will miss Jake but remember God''s word at Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:29. Also keep in mind that one day soon there will be no more death Rev 21:3,4 and no one saying I am sick because that will be a thing of the past.. Isaiah 33:24. Agape Love, Sherry

Jake: You will never know how much will be missed. You have touched the hearts of sooo many people! We will forever remember you and your quirky smile that was so loved. I am so proud to have known you. I am so proud of you for all that you accomplished and I know that you are rejoicing with Jesus. Denney, Maggi, & Connor: We love you so much and although we do not understand we know that God has a perfect plan. You should be so proud for raising such an amazing young man!

I only talked to him personally a few times, He was a great kid.I came to all of his baseball games, and his determination to baseball was outstanding.I know how much he meant to all of his frinds. His girlfriend, Kelsey was one of my good friends. My prayers go to his family and friends. <3
