Jake, it has been an honor to have the pleasure of teaching you twice and being able to watch you grow over the years. My math classes will never be the same. I have never met such a well mannered, hardworking student as you. You have touched so many lives around you. You are going to be missed by many. I''m praying for your family and friends that miss you dearly. Ms. Ellis

Jake, I want you to know that you have touched the lives of so many! I know for a fact that you have touched me as well as my son Cooper. I really appreciate the great example and role model you have been to my son...That trait is hard to come by this day and age. He looks up to you and Conner and always asked to see you when I brought him to the ball field. I also feel so priveledged that I had the opportunity to help your dad coach you and your friends in ball for two years. I will never forget you Jake Hewell. You are truly and inspiration and your memory will remain forever.

Jake, I wish I had taken the time to tell you what a fine young man you were! I really enjoyed having you in class and also going to DC with us! We all miss you greatly! I can''t comprehend what your parents are going through! My prayers and thoughts are with them. Hopefully, Jake, the impact that you had on your friends will make them stronger and better people as a result of them knowing you! Thank you for being so special! M. Carver
